Welcome to a new Killzone Shadow Fall Weekend Roundup. Among the items in this week’s roundup, we have new Weekend Challenges, new Featured Warzones, a new Patch, and the announcement for a new pair of FREE multiplayer maps!
Starting today (Friday, at 23:59 GMT), we are giving you an excuse to
show off your skills in our Weekend
Challenge! Running until Sunday night at 00:00 GMT, your challenge is to try and
score as many points in the Classic
Warzone as possible. We'll publish the top 10 results next week.
If you’re not taking part in the Weekend Challenge, why not give our new Featured Warzones a spin?
- Capture the Flag (Classic) by perfektgarden

Patch 1.08 Released
On Tuesday, Killzone Shadow Fall patch 1.08 was released to the public. This is a relatively small patch, intended to fix several common crashes; you can view what’s changed here. A larger patch with changes and additions to game functionality is forthcoming.
First Free Pair of Maps Revealed
On Wednesday, we provided a sneak peak at concept art for the first pair of downloadable multiplayer maps inspired by key locations from Killzone Shadow Fall’s single-player campaign. The maps will be released to the community free of charge, and will be fully compatible with Killzone Shadow Fall’s Custom Warzone feature.
Getting Rid of Laggg
One of the most annoying things you can experience when playing online is the occurrence of latency, or ‘lag’. We asked lead game tech Jorrit Rouwe about the most likely causes of lag, and what can be done to prevent it as much as possible.
Here’s Your Chance to End Ebolt
As part of the interactive event known as First To Greatness, which celebrates the many different gaming firsts to be had across the PlayStation 4 launch lineup, US and Canadian players are being invited to end Ebolt (Lead Designer Eric Boltjes) in an online round of Killzone Shadow Fall multiplayer.
Killzone Shadow Fall Announce Demo Recreated in LEGO
Killzone fan Lang Schaffner uses LEGO and stop-motion animation to painstakingly re-create scenes from the Killzone Shadow Fall announce demo, brick-by-brick. Talk about dedication:
That’s all for this installment of the Weekend Roundup. Have fun with the Weekend Challenge, and see you next week!
