Fed up with football now that your favorite team has been eliminated? Don’t worry, because the world cup isn’t the only competitive event around! In this edition of the Weekend Roundup we have more on the Killzone Shadow Fall World Challenge semifinals and the UK Shadow Fall Tournament Grand Finals.

Killzone Shadow Fall World Challenge Semifinals

The dust of the Challenge Rounds has settled, leaving four teams standing: the Autarchs, the Marshals, the Tyrants, and newcomers Bak’s Bloodhounds. Which teams will make it through to the finals and follow their team captains into a live match against each other? To find out, they must first survive the semifinals!

UK Killzone Shadow Fall Tournament Grand Finals

This Sunday at 18:00 BST, the Grand Finals of the UK Killzone Shadow Fall Tournament will take place! Organized by PlayStation Plus and hosted by the ESL, this event sees teams from all over the UK battle it out for a chance at the £1,000 main prize. Fourth of July Celebrations

Last week Community Manager Jeroen Roding concocted a crazy plan to throw a 4th of July fireworks celebration in Killzone Shadow Fall multiplayer, by having everyone throw grenades into the air at the exact same time. Players were even encouraged to create montages of the celebration (using ShareFactory), for a chance to win signed Killzone artworks. Here are some of the cool montages we’ve seen so far:
